Fancy joining us for a ride?

As well as fixing bikes, i also love riding bikes, especially with mates. So we formed a cycling club call Caversham CC. We meet up and go out riding most Sunday's and summer evenings. There is usually coffee and cake involved :).

The highlight of the summer week is the pub ride. Usually about 25 miles with some refreshment at a local pub a few miles from home. Often it's the Black Horse in Checkendon, with ale sold by the jug, and high quality crisps.  But other pubs are frequented as well.

We are always welcoming of new riders so if you fancy joining us drop me a message at tim@cavershambikeservices.co.uk. As a rough rule of thumb, Sunday rides are usually 30-40 miles at 15-16mph average in winter and 50-60 miles at 16.5-17.5mph average in the summer. Pub rides usually involve a bit of fast riding just to work up an appetite and work off the stresses of the day job.

Here are a few of our favourite routes.
